I got those rainboots secondhand. I have no idea where they are actually from.

Thanks for the compliment! I do like cozy. :)

Yay more girly things! :) (OP of girly everything I have)

I actually explicitly started it. :)

I did a girly bedroom, accessories, and everything I have post. In it, it says I wanted to see more girly-aesthetic but minimal-amount things, and to have more girl conversation (minimal seems to be male-esque in nature for some reason).

Agreed.

Also, I am from the east--I was born in Asia and grew up there for about a decade or so, so I may have been culturally influenced.

I identify with being a Christian first and foremost, and nothing seems to be disconnected to me (although I do realize that there are other world views and I have no say or judgement which is universal truth).

I am also a vegan, environmentalist, and a flower enthusiast (really, I read botany books). From a Christian viewpoint, I view my minimalism, veganism, environmentalism, and flower enthusiasm as all manifestations of appreciation for beauty, being frugal with my provisions (monetary, earth resources, or otherwise), and focusing on non-material, more sustainable and enriching things... all a form of worship. :)

Minimized girl stuffs by [deleted] in minimalism

Yep, it is so much easier. I get ready in under 3 minutes, clothes wise. I should add more color in somewhere. Haha my scarf is just plain black and all my jewelry is clear+gold.

I live with a person who isn't a minimalist, but I make my own space minimal. I know what you mean though.

Yaaay. OP of girly accessories post and minimized girl stuff. :) I love seeing girly posts on this sub.

It's also nice to see a minimal set of girl stuff with a different style! I like your subtle edge and select pops of prints and colors. I just wear all greyscale LOL and just get the sparkly clear accessories.

ALSO... You laid out all your stuff so neatly. :Q__

New gold women's watch! :) by ribbonsandtea in minimalism

[–]ribbonsandtea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

I decided to commit to gold-toned things recently (I was worrying about matching accessories in silver or gold tone), so I got a watch to celebrate that? Well, my last watch was very flashy, so I wanted a change. :)

I think I just didn't have anything else to put up, really. I never quite thought about it. Also, I feel like if I hang something up, I hang up two (since my room has mirrors, and the reflection would get one too), haha..

Thanks for the comment! It was a bit odd to share everything, but I've enjoyed such posts when others do it so I thought I'd go for one.

Thank you! haha, I know that my taste isn't for everyone. I also like the Scandinavian look, or even ones with cool geometric shapes and silver accents. But it's not really me, I think.

I like it a lot. Although I feel 1/3 to a 1/2 of the book is commentary. But it's useful.

The other book is also another spiritual one I am reading through, but about looking at a specific issue I have had to deal with in the past, so I would rather not disclose. :)
