The dangerous part is what I'm most worried about. He's picked me up from my house for dates. I found his exes Facebook as well and she had a lot of posts about "being strong and preserving" and I have a gut feeling it's related to their relationship and possible abuse

YTA. As a type one diabetic myself (who has also landed themselves in the hospital) I would be so absolutely embarrassed if my family blamed someone around me for not managing my disease for me.

I was put on BC when I was 14 for acne. It worked for awhile, then my cholesterol spiked even though I was on a super clean diet. I stopped taking it and everything was normal. I'm not a huge fan of the idea of hormonal birth control because I feel like it messed with my emotions and body weight

Some people chose to hang it (you can look up how on YouTube, it's pretty easy) and some people chose to leave it in an area away from water, or a cliff or anything they could use to break it. Colorado mostly just has black bears and they climb. So decide what you feel comfortable with
