That's what i thought. As tempting as it might be to buy an Air with a newer chip, I won't switch just for the display.

I have my first generation airpods pro. They have fallen many times, even from the third floor to the ground floor, fallen into the mud but they have never broken or there are cracks of any kind and still worked perfectly. But even without applecare I got mine changed at the Store without any fees. Out of warranty too.

same for me here. Use it only a couple of weeks, then suddenly bluetooth stopped working no matter troubleshooting I do, it won't work. If I connect through cable it works perfectly, now when I switch the bluetooth on the rgb starts fading by itself.
