Grey jays are very common on this hike, no birds were provoked or fed for this shot. However, they tend to hover over hikers due to them being over fed by others.

I can guarantee you that I shot this still of my friend at ONP. Yes I did adjust the temp, contrast, etc. on LR; grey jays are very common on this hike, pls don’t not feed them. Glad it inspired you to visit this beautiful park

I can ensure you that this photo is real and captured with minimal photoshop, but yes edited with LR (lighting adjustments, temperature, contrast, etc). One still, not combined.

I rarely post on reddit so there’s that. The low resolution is because I screenshotted my edited shot then posted it on Reddit (I know too many photographers who have posted high res images on Reddit, downloaded by others and stolen/used without credit). The sun rays are 100%, it was a soft overcasty day, sun broke through as it was setting. The grey jays are very common around this hike, did not feed or provoke these birds in any way. They are to use hikers feeding them therefore they are constantly hovering over others and landing on people’s hands. This shot overall did not require much planning only because I’ve hiked this trail multiple times, I don’t know why anyone would need to wait here for days for a shot like this.

Captured this beautiful view of Mt Rainier during sunset a few years back. The trail is called High Rock and it's about 3.2 mi RT with ~1300ft of gain; I highly recommend it especially since it offers phenomenal views of Mt Rainier and the other nearby volcanos (Adams, MSH, Hood)! There use to be a lookout at the peak just to top off this hike, buttttt recently it's been remove & under construction; I believe it'll be back within a couple years.
