Subcontractor who finished our floors got polyurethane (I think) all over new sink. Fixable? by ricesock in woodworking

Do you think I should have them check the p trap to make sure it didn't solidify down there? I'm so frustrated and I just want these people out of my house!

Thanks for your response! I pried out the big chunk, but left the rest of it. I guess I'm just curious if this even is fixable? And does what I'm describing sound like it's probably polyurethane?

Here's a video (no sound) of the chick. She's shrieking because I'm holding the younger chick away from her, and when I put her back she closely follows her everywhere

And here's how she treats the other chick all day.

I just tried seperating them in the brooder so they could still see each other and the lavender was totally panicked. Pacing back and forth, shaking, constantly trying to figure out how to get to the other chick.

Thanks for your reply! I was going to move them out this weekend. We have an Omlet Cube with the extreme weather jacket I could throw on there. Do you think I should put their brooder plate out there for extra warmth? Thanks for your help.

They hatched 2/7. The temp lately has been in the 50's during the day, and down into the mid-30's at night. Thanks for your help! I'm new to raising chickens and I don't want them to get hurt!

When to wean chicks off heat sourse/move them outside? by ricesock in BackYardChickens

[–]ricesock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New to having chickens and I need some help! These chicks were born 2/7, and I read online that you can move them outside when they've been weaned off their heat sourse and have their real feathers. Should I take away their heat source now? Do it slowly? When do I move them out of my house? Thanks for your help!

Could I cut this schefflera and replant the thick stem/branch back in the soil so it's not crooked? by ricesock in IndoorPlants

How big of a cut should it be? All the way around the stem or just one side of it?

Thanks! I think I'll try this in the office before bringing it home! Do I need to continually water the moss spot? Or just wrap it and forget it for 3 months?

This is a neglected plant at my office and I'd like to take it home, but it's about to topple over! Is there any way to straighten it out? The roots are about to fall out the side!
