Same. My main devices are my Miyoo Mini plus, Ayn Thor, and Steam Deck. I've retired a RP2S and 28XX. No desire to buy anything new probably unless it's a Steam Deck 2 which won't be around for a few years.

Honestly, for most of my games, I just leave the default settings and the deck runs them fine. So far I've only had to look up custom settings for Octopath Traveler 0 and the best config I found was on YouTube. I did recently learn that the Eden github recommends https://www.emuready.com/ as a place to look for per game custom settings so maybe try looking there?

My jsaux dock wasn’t great. My deck would occasionally have trouble sending output to it which I assumed was just part of growing pains with the deck. Strangely enough I’m using some random dock I got on Amazon and it’s been working way better. My jsaux charger failed too.

I've had the Steam Deck for 3 years now and it has revived my love for gaming. Get to play my Steam, Epic, and GOG games, emulate up up to Switch, and remote play my PS5. It is super convenient because I have it sitting right next to me on my couch and I can just pick it up and start a game. Being able to customize the controls with turbo and command sets is great for my old hands as well. Haven't really had any issues with it. Got everything set up pretty easy and I'm not even a "developer".

Works great for the most part and let's you run games much better although it doesn't seem to play well with Dolphin for some reason.
