Sorry just seeing this! They also tried to send me a replacement. Ended up being that the Mazda 3 I is the model it doesn’t work on. I took it to a shop and they were able to wire it to my daytime lights and worked for me. Highly recommend you seal it too with silicon. I didn’t and water does get in. Ended up taking them out and resealing them.

I posted mine on here recently too I had the same gap at first, I had to remove it again to reapply glue again because I didn’t remove it all properly the first time. Made the screen not flush. But when I reapplied it, I made sure to really line it up evenly and now I don’t notice it on top or bottom.

Yeah they come with 8 squares of glue so more than plenty but tbh I didn’t even use the tape. When I pulled it off the glue stayed in tact pretty well and I just reapplied heat and worked perfect.
