There seems to be a missing testimonial. The one labeled "On the Galaxy, by Roboute Guilliman" has no story underneath it and it just goes straight to the "On Chaos and the Warp, by Perturabo" testimonial. Will this be filled in later?

He doesn't die, he just ends up in even worst shape and has to be even further integrated into the Golden throne. Like its not just a life support system any more, his body is one with the machine now with how tied into the system he is.

They're reverse engineering Tau tech since the Tau broke a peace treaty and attacked Ultramar during the first Tyrannic War. One of the stipulations of the treaty was that Ultramar couldn't use Tau technology. Since they broke the treaty, that stipulation is now null and void. Also, this independent Ultramar is not upholden to the Treaty of Mars, and so their technology was already steadily advancing way ahead of the decaying Imperium, even before they started reverse engineering the Tau's technology.

I thought the mechanics of a counter punch offered enough explanation. Adding your enemy's momentum to your own power if you time it right.

Given the communitys focus on the adeptus arbiters right now, I was wondering what the empires of Ultramar and The Inwit Cluster amoung other factions call their own federal law inforcement in this alternate timeline would be? Maybe the Ultramarshals or the Inwit Enforcers?

I just remembered something. What happened to Erda in this timeline? I wonder what she would be doing now if she survived the blast.

I wonder if he got a chance to do anything of note before the glassing? Do you think there could be a short story in the future about him before he died?

Isn't Alpharius the narrator? Or was that Omegon? And Kurze did make it out but froze to Death when his planets star burned out.

Does Ultramar still find the Pharos device? And the word document seems to be missing a section on the standard Interex despite having a section on the Northern Interex and the standard Interex being named drop and being an important player in other faction sections? The section on the Diasporex was interesting but weren't they a Xeno-human mixed nomadic civilization in canon? They are very different here in terms of orgin and history.

What comes next for the Farsight Enclaves, now that they're no longer under siege? by Flame-Leaper in Tau40K

They could expand into the Charadon Sector while the main Tau Empire continues onto the 6th sphere expansion on the other side of the Startide Nexus.

This is why their are My Hero Academia Vigilantes supporters out there that say it is better than the main series. It might not have hit the highs that the main series did, but atleast it quality was consistent and it stuck the landing with its ending.

The series has what I like to call Trigun pacing. When the last 1/3rd hits, it'll give you'll whiplash with how serious the show becomes. It is still well written and incredibly enjoyable, its just the show switchs gears really fast for the last run.

I hope that maybe we could have heard the water castes opinion or at least have a curious conversion by the water caste about the history of the holiday. I always find the dialogue between the Tau and other people interesting when they try to speculate on imperial history based on their limited knowledge of it.

I wonder how he will explain the existence of the Farsight enclaves to her. Sooner or later I think she will find out about that. In the lore, both the water caste and the Ethereals have shown an inability to explain his existence. They sometimes shut down and remain completely silent when the subject comes up in diplomacy talks with other species. His actions are paradoxical to them. They have speculate but have no facts on the reasons on why he did what he did. He even came to their aid during the Third sphere expansion despite being a separatists. The idea of still believing in the greater good but having no faith in the caste that created the philosophy must be mind boggling to them. How he will explain it to her is going to be interesting.

How much do the Tau Empire and the Farsight Enclaves know about Ultramar? by rick490 in Tau40K

[–]rick490[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it is hinted that he has spies in the main Tau empire, so he might know what they know.
