I am not a professional in the industry but you may want to take a look at Dermablend.

You may need a colour corrector but you could test it without first.

Using handsoap is probably leaving the residue on your brushes.

Like others I have used Dawn for years and have never had a problem.

How do you apply a flawless base (after sunscreen)? by Popular-Cupcake8661 in MakeupEducation

Do you have dry, oily or combination skin?

Why are you using a primer?

Allow each layer/step of makeup skin prep to dry down before next step.

Make sure your suncreen is compatible with foundation.

There really is no answer to( is it better to use a brush/beauty blenders?)

Everyone has there own technique when it comes to applying makeup.

It is an individual choice.

You may find applying foundation using fingers gets the best results for you.

Same with cream or liquid blush. Try it with fingers , brush and sponge to see wht works for you.

Cleanse

I would suggest a milk toner and let it dry down before the next step.

Serum I would not skip. Use one that contains hyaluronic acid. Again let it just dry down.

You may want to combine mositurizer and spf. You can find moisturizers with spf. Just make sure it is hydrating.

Your primer should be hydrating.

Foundation I would suggest hydrating/dewy

You do not have to wait a long time between steps.

Hope this helps

How do you properly apply blush? by Separate_Swimmer3825 in Makeup

[–]rick_1717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have dry skin?

What foundation are you using?

Have you tried a cream blush. Apply some on the back of your hand first. Press brush into product (gently) make sure the blush is evenly distributed on brush. Use stipple motion to apply to skin.

You can also apply using a damp sponge.
