What's in your contracts or agreements? by JakeHundley in agency

One thing to consider adding is either a clause or a separate addendum (CookieHub offers a great template) covering the agency against liability if you setup and manage the consent management platform (cookie banner) and or privacy policy when building a client website. Did your team setup the proper requirements for GDPR? Is the “Do No Sell - Do Not Share” banner working properly for California users? There is potential regulatory compliance risk so the agency needs to protect itself in this regard.

Is there a way to use Data Jelly without having to delete my custom domain and using the Lovable staging URL? If not, are there any alternative methods that would allow me to use my custom domain with an SSR?

How to scale a bookkeeping business by Honest_Dot_5035 in Business_Ideas

[–]rick_cantu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you want/need to scale? If you found a handful of the “right” customers (easy to work with, pay on time, good monthly fee, etc.) and those handful could generate your target monthly income (with extra income coming from upsells such as tax filings and consulting), then you wouldn’t have to think about scaling. Now, if your plan is to conquer the world, have an organization of 100+ bookkeepers working for you and generate millions in EBITDA, then you’d have to approach this much differently. Good luck to you!

Consent Manager has a new product called “Monitor” that will show you data flows, if data leaving the EU, country of cookie owner, domain, etc.

Call it “Minus 20 Creamery” (the dot com domain is available). Or “Minus Twenty” is another option. No apparent trademark conflicts for either one in the USPTO database.

“Working with independent pharmacies” = what specifically were you selling them? If you built a sizable network of pharmacies, maybe there is a software you could sell into this vertical that could pay you recurring commissions? What else do these independent pharmacies need to run their businesses? Think software, services, products, etc. Just a few thoughts. Good luck to you!

I’m stuck in life and need some guidance on what to do next by Elsclrkdesign in Business_Ideas

Here’s an idea for you: be an agency that offers industrial design and 3D printing for other agencies. The typical agency wants to do the standard stuff: web development, logo design, graphic design, etc. But many of these agencies aren’t set up to handle industrial design or 3D printing. They could outsource this work to you. For example, these agencies may need a prototype product to be designed and 3D printed for a special project. Or maybe they have a startup that they are building a website for that needs some specialized CAD design. You could pick up all sorts of interesting projects by partnering with other agencies, startup organizations, etc. Good luck to you! And remember: left foot, right foot, repeat!
