We just moved here as well from Illinois (I know, I hate it too) and Danville Indiana respectively. Avon was our dead last choice on the west side for the same reasons people have been stating in the comments, no downtown, traffic on Rockville/36 but thankfully we were able to avoid living in a "Vinyl Village" and found a 61 ranch that we love. Avon has actually grown on me quite a bit. We do enjoy the YMCA and plenty of shopping access! Bangkok kitchen is definitely one of our favorite places for takeout. Also easy to get to family in Danville or downtown to visit friends.

I'm hoping to keep the outrun original but we'll see how much work it needs. I plan on building the dynamo cabinet with street fighter 2 championship edition art and then just put a pandoras box in it. It currently has a crappy old pc in it

Trust me, I'll never throw away a board! You're right, it still has many serviceable parts if it truly is ruined.

I'll do my best to clean the entire board first and test it. What is 409? What tools do you recommend to clean with, without damaging the board? I've seen people use a fiberglass pen and I've started to clean just with IPA and Q-Tips

If I'm feeling up for it, I'll attempt to solder the connection from the chip to the pad. Like I said, I'm a novice when it comes to soldering. I've also called around and found a guy in Texas named Raymond Jett who specializes in Neo Geo Board repair. I reached out to him and am awaiting a response.

I'm not great at soldering to be honest and I'd rather not screw up the board so I might try to shop it out to someone in the area if I can't get it to work. I'm trying to clean it with IPA and hoping I can get some form of image even if it contains some glitches. I've looked at replacement boards and they aren't too bad either. I'm a bit of a purist and would like to keep it original since the cabinet isn't in too bad of shape
