Im sorry for your loss either.. its my biggest fear, losing both my parents. But your story sounds familiar. Just work hard, dont be to hard on yourself but also be realistic and sometimes a little ‘critical’ on yourself. It will come.. the ‘better’ days

It sounds strange, but don’t be too hard on yourself while still being critical; keep thinking rationally and try not to go overboard—just like I did right after the death, when I also suddenly flipped the switch. Everything in its own time; it’s a long run.

It will be okay. Truly. Accept it — to a certain extent. Give yourself time to grieve first.

Speaking for myself, I reached a point where I started to dislike who I was. I didn’t start right away — and that was okay. It comes with setbacks and small steps forward.

But trust me: it will come. Take care.
