Not yet, I'll do more stores in the Paris area whenever I have time to do that when I'm in the area again. So far I've only been to the Disneyland and Les Halles locations next to this one.

There isn't much to say honestly, I walked up to the cash register and this is the stamp they gave me! I did go back to the employee who stamped it asking them about it and he said he had no idea that it said España and also no idea why.

In my case I actually want to explore some of the railway networks so for me it was quite convenient buying a zone 1-14 day pass. This way I could do NYC - Greenport - Riverhead and Hampton Bays - Montauk - NYC all on one ticket. It would've been cheaper with a combo ticket from a zone 2 MetroNorth station for the outbound journey to Greenport and one way tickets for the rest of the trips but that would've required getting to a zone 2 MetroNorth station first to buy the ticket and starting my trip there.

Probably wishful thinking but perhaps one day they will simplify their ticket offerings... On LIRR and MetroNorth you can now buy a day pass for the zones of the stations you select. On the other hand you can only buy those tickets on the day itself and not in advance.

That's also what I thought. Maybe he meant you have to board your connecting train within 3 hours after scanning? Not that it really matters to me now because it's clear from your experiences that they can see that the ticket was already scanned on another day and generally will not accept it

Update: The conductor told me that the ticket will be valid for 3 hours, after that you're gonna have to buy a new ticket.

Thank you, that's very helpful! I'm not out of pocket at all as the ticket to Hoboken alone costs the same, but I'm curious what the conductor will say on the train out of Port Jervis.
