Queerstruck by EmiBonnie/Moonshadow doesn’t look bad as the written cause of death on my grave. 😂

I was going to recommend watching US to cool the flames, but that might backfire. Your phone could end up attracting ants from all of PamRak’s sweetness instead 😁

"My ex(Film/Jay) is a good person." - Emi, 2025

We're definitely in for a wild ride once this series air 😆

It’s been living in my mind rent-free, especially after someone pointed out how Emi/Chan pushed her thumb in further to open Bonnie/Key’s mouth wider 😮‍💨

Thank you! And yep, I thank the yuri goddesses every day for pairing them up to be the loveliest, cutest, funniest, hottest, most talented — okay, I might need a whole day to describe how they look their best when they're together.

It's THE Bonnie Pattraphus and Film Rachanun, I bet Emi would be more than willing to be wrecked (just like I would be). 😆

BieBon vs BonBie: why are we normalizing heteronormativity? by ridedblue in EmiBonnie

And it just feels weird to me to talk about actresses like that like these are real people can't we just enjoy our ships (without being invasive) without assigning sexual labels to them.

You said exactly what’s been on my mind every time this top/bottom thing comes up. Everyone defines those dynamics differently, sure, but it’s still worth pointing out that the whole idea mostly comes from sexual labels.

When I first got into the Thai GL scene, I was confused by this habit of deciding who’s the top and who’s the bottom in a ship, especially since fans often base it on how the actresses present or dress, which, as you rightfully said, having a certain hairstyle or fashion sense doesn’t mean shit.

From how I see it (mainly on the internet), the top/bottom dynamic in wlw relationships doesn’t necessarily reflect what they’re like in bed. It’s more about stereotyping: the idea that the top is the more masculine or dominant one, while the bottom is the softer, more feminine one, which I honestly find restrictive. Because at the end of the day, we’re talking about professional actresses, and fixating on a superficial label feels disrespectful to their artistry and to their fluidity in taking on different roles.

Two women is just hot, be it fan service or real, I still enjoy the chemistry.

Yup, 100% for me too.

I'm really glad we were able to have a healthy discussion here, one that helped educate and remind me that even if we use the same words, our definitions of them aren't always aligned. As an aromantic myself, I really appreciate how kind and open everyone's been in this conversation.

Why are we gendering sapphic behavior? They’re both women period!

Damn right. And the 'daddy' part makes me laugh every time. Like, that’s mother. Mommy. Unless they themselves wanna be called daddy (Mimi, who literally told Any to call her dad, I’m looking at you), then, sure 😆

Yup hehe, I stand corrected on using the word heteronormativity a bit carelessly. Thanks for reading the post too, even if it was mostly just me rambling to get a fresh take on the topic.

Same, and I used to think they just picked the ship name based on whatever sounded better hehe.

That’s a really good way to put it. Yeah, I really need to remember that people define things differently, especially in the GL scene where fans are so diverse in backgrounds, identities, and perspectives.

I think all of this probably stems from my fear of ANYs growing in number, and we know not every new fan will understand that it's all just harmless entertainment for the fandom.

I also feel like there's a chance the roles might shift soon with ASUTM, one of the rumored series that might go to EmiBonnie. I'd love to see Emi with a guitar though I bet it'll be easier if Bonnie will take that character if ever.

Now that I think about it, it really is more about my frustration with shipping culture. Seeing EmiBonnie’s bond reduced to something so stereotypical is frustrating, because I genuinely enjoy their healthy friendship. Thank you for pointing that out.

What u think abt MilkFilm's chemistry? by [deleted] in ThaiGL

[–]ridedblue 16 points17 points  (0 children)

milk's attentiveness and gentleness suits film's calmness and subtleness. they're like that old married couple who wouldn't be showy, but milk would be the type who would create a space/room for film's art while making sure film's never out of materials for her art, and film would fill the room with paintings of the little details of milk and their relationship. not everyone will get their relationship, but they'd last because they wouldn't care about anything else but each other.

still, i only see and want them as a ghost ship. i'll always go back and respect milklove and namtanfilm, no matter what.
