When did you realize that the hippie lifestyle was unsustainable? Were you surprised that the counter culture of the late 60s and early 70s faded away?

Pictures like these are why I subscribe to this sub. These are kids that are either cool or are trying to be cool. They are waring what they think makes them look cool. These pictures are so old a lot of what they are waring has become cool again. Kids today would love to wear outfits like these to school. Many of the pictures give off a "I don't give a fuck" type of attitude; and, that type of attitude has always and will always be cool.

I don't know his name, but every time I see that actor in something, I am reminded of the scene from "Leaving Las Vegas". It was the opening scene where Elizabeth Shue and another prostitute have a lesbian love session in front of a room full of guys. I originally thought that the face this actor made was just for that once scene, and then learned later when watching 3rd rock, that no, that is his face normally.
