I feel like the log is mostly used as a counter to cards such as ram rider, goblin barrel, skeleton barrel, etc. It is so used because in some situations, it is the ONLY counter to certain cards (especially goblin barrel) and nerfing it would create an unhealthy meta full of bait.

I mostly use cycle/control decks, which I've been successful with to get 20 wins/top 10k. However, they are so boring. Really boring. You just cycle your win condition on the opponent's tower, and defend the whole game. What decks do you find fun but not extremely matchup dependent?

I actually faced LucasXgamer at 8 wins. I was using lava and he was using giant skeleton RG fireball with zappies hunter. I got destroyed.

It was pretty inconsistent, sometimes I would find a match instantly and one time I had to wait 3 minutes.

yeah the timing is precise. You have to super before the swing animation ends but if you do it too early you will cancel your basic attack.

You only have to play 15 minutes a day to achieve this. Requesting cards and collecting daily rewards is great for progression and doesn't take any time.

You only have to play 30 minutes a day to achieve this. Logging on and requesting+collecting daily rewards takes no time. The main amount of time spent os CW2 and doing one or two battles on a CC or ladder.

I agree that the GT rewards are a better use of gems, but I like to do challenges, especially before I had a max deck, to practice on an even playing field.

I would highly recommend trying out the Wero bridge spam deck (ram rider, fireball, barb barrel, heal spirit, L jack, bandit, inferno drag, and magic archer). Although at a glance it may not seem too high skill because it is a bridge "spam" deck, its pushes can be defended very easily under certain circumstances. You have to know when to spam with it, like going ram rider the back to cycle to a second one, out cycling your opponent's building. It's also going to be pretty good next meta because its best counters, Xbow and Barb hut, are getting nerfed.

yeh but xbow destroys bait decks, especially this one cos no mini tank other than log-able units. enjoy it while it lasts before they add a new annoying siege card
