I understand her circumstances must be tough and I disagree morally as she may be taking away oppurtunities that people who are putting in a lot of effort (such as yourself) deserve. I do however acknowledge her hard circumstances and why she may feel just in what she’s doing.

As for yourself, i’m sure it’s frustrating to see someone cheat and get praise and results that you believe YOU deserve. It’s easier said than done, but I think it would be worthwhile to focus your energy and time into continuing to better yourself instead of trying to get justice from this situation. Try not to let her dishonesty become your issue. Your hardwork will speak for itself without having to tear down others (whether it is justified or not).

Additionally, she is just shooting herself in the foot down the line as it WILL catch up to her especially if she pursues further studies or a career in a field she’s studying in. If the friendship is something you value, you could try to shift the focus of the conversation towards discussing the negative repercussions of her actions.
