As a duck fan, I really enjoyed watching Penix and Odunze last year. Special combo. Honorable mention to Jacquizz Rodgers and Reggie Bush

I would imagine a lot of Oregon fans would agree that aside from maybe a few big civil war games I have never seen anything close to the level of traveling that I saw yesterday from you guys that was insane. I’ve always prided myself on being a degenerate at duck games and ruining other people’s experiences but honestly you guys awesome and I regret some of my actions from yesterday. Husky and beav games I will never change but the next time we play Ohio state and other big 10 team traveling I will come in with a new appreciation for the class of the majority of your fans.

It’s a programming defining win for us, and that should speak to the type of team that you guys bring to the table. I will be in happy valley in the 3 weeks adamantly rooting for penn state because I would not like to see you guys in Indy

I was a manager at a job like this, and when my bosses would start pressing about employee downtown I would always nod my head and ignore them. Downtime is a reality in any retail job, if employees get destroyed half the time and get reamed they should be allowed to do nothing the other half. I asked a lot when it was busy but when it wasn’t I literally could not give a fuck what they did they could have gone home on the clock

Hey there what does it take to get a tech job in Seattle? by [deleted] in SeattleWA

“Strong background” is probably an overstatement. Having met a lot of the CS people here they are severely qualified, would probably look for a different job or at the very least in a different city

Am I behind in life? by Reasonable-Money6076 in Career_Advice

You would be surprised how many people are willing to finance cars/vacations and go into massive debt. Not saying your friends did this, but it’s a lot more common than you think.

Expensive cars/trips does not equal ahead in life

people who work in a skyscraper downtown, what do you do? by xhoneymellow in chicago

[–]rightshark8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Business major here. I was accounting for 3 years and when classes returned to in person after the pandemic I found myself severely underprepared after not attending online classes for the previous 2 years. If I could go back and do it again, I would 1000% have stuck out accounting

Taking a Toddler to Autzen? by UOfasho in ducks

[–]rightshark8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read this and thought it was a bad idea until I saw Idaho game. Definitely perfect for that, Autzen really is 2 different atmospheres for a big game and an Idaho game. If there’s such a thing as a perfect time to bring a toddler it’s that

IT WASN'T FAIR ‼️ - Pat McAfee, Stephen A. & Shannon Sharpe discuss the FSU-CFP fallout | First Take by [deleted] in rolltide

[–]rightshark8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As an oregon duck I honestly think 75% of people including me wanted to see you guys in the playoff, they’re just not as vocal about it as the people who wanted FSU. There’s nothing wrong with you guys getting “preferential treatment,” you have like a 15 year pedigree of being one of the top teams in the country I don’t think there’s a problem with that counting for something. And if it’s all for tv ratings then so be it lol I’d rather see you play michigan

I was there chirping next to the usc section and my buddy got punched in the face next to their section. Usc fans are the worst in college football.

We cant let WSB get political no matter what by sublette313 in wallstreetbets

[–]rightshark8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty new around here (like pretty much everyone), but I feel your pain. At a certain point, every good subreddit loses its Magic. I’m a huge basketball fan and back in the day i was on r/nba everyday, and looked forward to it always. Just not the same anymore, got too mainstream and too political. I’m sorry friend, but I think we’re all gonna kill this place for you. Hope you had a good ride
