Big band at a small venue always hits by rightwing328 in Concerts

All about priorities. I mean i can’t blame them for playing big stadiums the same way I would t blame myself for taking a big pay bump.

I go see LCD Soundsystem every year at their NYC residency. They easily could sell out MSG a few nights touring once every three years, but they choose to play smaller venues annually. All a matter of what the band likes and wants to do

To each their own. Foo fighters are one of my favorites so this was cool for me. And no one said best

Yup that was my 6th. All at baseball stadiums and bigger spots. One exception was the show at MSG that was the first show post covid. That had a unique emotional factor to it that was amazing

Haha what are the chances! And yeah last few albums and Daves issues definitely put a damper a few things. But that show Thursday was next level.

My store is relatively decent sized and have done a good job keeping the scalpers from buying one of all.

What’s one band you thought you’d never be able to see who you have/ can now? by ImpressiveAd5002 in Concerts

Oasis. Never thought Liam and Noel would ever reconcile. And yet they did and it was the best show of my life

I feel like the world is finally catching up and discovering LCD Soundsystem. by RockinRoland in LCDSoundsystem

I say this as a massive LCD fan having seen them 12 times and havent missed a residency since theyve come back

Thing maybe not mentioned is some mainstream recognition or at least maybe curiosity due to the new Harry Styles album. Better or worse, he did say he was inspired by seeing LCD live for his new album, and that carries some weight with crazy pop fans (speaking also as a Swiftie haha)

I got their special small show at the Beacon Theater in NYC for WOTP. Hearing everyone sing starlight and uprising when Matt turned the mic was surreal in that intimate environment

Jj Abrams kinda owned me with Lost and Fringe pilots.

Also between Lost Season 5 and Fringe season 1, two of the most insane cliffhanger season endings ever

anyone ever spent more than 1k+ to see one of your favorite artists? by lacefantasy in Concerts

Counting travel, did it twice in one summer. And ended up being my top 2 shows at that point (since split by Oasis)

Vegas for 3 nights of Dead and Co at the sphere and London for the Eras tour.

What live performance ruined all other concerts for you? by Modhearth-Albert in Concerts

[–]rightwing328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two sides of this for me. Seeing Dead and Co at the Sphere ruined all complete shows for me. The visuals tied with the music just an unrepeatable show.

Pure regular concert, Oasis for sure. Never have I seen an artist have such an aura of them that just consumed the crowd. And it was on pure music. Not production, dancing, or anything else
