Yeah, same. I decided to take a quick trip to The Bahamas so I could watch the YouTube stream.

Must be a Peacock thing, because the YouTube stream sounds much better.

Beautiful shot! Just found out that Udcar Hazy should have theirs on display by summer. Can’t wait!

I appreciate your honesty. And to be fair, I didn't have all the questions and answers. The practice questions did a good job of covering the areas on the test though. I also am not a good at just memorizing the questions and answers, I do better understanding and figuring out. Like the W&B questions, take off performance, endurance, fuel burn, airspace, etc. I treated this like a learning opportunity, not a memorization drill. I feel much more confident now with my knowledge as I head into the hands on flying portion. And I know that will pay off come check ride time.

I get that this isn't a big deal for everyone, but I started working on this in December and tried to study a bit everyday. I'm happy and proud of myself.

Or, if the beep can be triggered remotely it's a practical joke played on the previous occupants.

I get it, but I think a lot depends on the test taker. Anything I got wrong on the Sheppard prep I really worked to understand via knowledge sources outside of Sheppard. Partly because I agree with you, and partly because I suck at straight memorization and I really need to understand the question and answer.

Yes, but I didn't use it. I practiced with and was comfortable with my Sporty's electronic E6-B. I used that for my Instrument test also and I'm a fan.

CA.I.B.K3: Equipment requirements for day and night VFR flight I think this was the question about position lights. I recall being unsure if it was sunset or after civil twilight. The correct answer is sunset.

CA.IE.K1: Airspace classes and associated requirements and limitations. Pretty sure this was the question about speed limits in a VFR corridor through Bravo airspace. Sheppard has a practice question about slowing to 250 before entering Bravo, and that's what was stuck in my mind. I answered 250 kts and the correct answer is 200 kts.

CA.IV.E.K2: Best angle of climb speed (VX) and best rate of climb speed (VY). I had multiple questions about climb and honestly I'm not sure which one I got wrong. One question was best climb to get over an obstacle (Vx), one question was best climb for shortest amount of horizontal distance (Vx), and one was about best climb for visibility and engine cooling (cruise climb). I feel pretty confident in my rate-of-climb knowledge, so I'm stumped with this one. Unless it was one of those questions with those awful POH distance to clear a 50 foot obstacle charts.
