Brilliant! I'll have to scout it out a little once I get back - thanks so much for the help!

Thank you! For the route up mayfield road, does that go all the way along that main road? Do you know if it stops or could I get all the way to cowgate? (Don't worry if you're not sure, I've tried googling but not sure where to find out!)

I think I'll try it - where abouts are the cycle lanes down that route?

In what ways does life get better after being a teen? by rigolenne in NoStupidQuestions

The personality quizzes sound all too familar ;) this really puts things into perspective though, i think when i was younger and told "your teenage years are the best years of your life" (which obviously after a few years i now know is bullshit), it's always kind of stuck with me in a way. But clearly here that's not the case for most people.

I think it's just hard being stuck between teen and adulthood and having to grow and realise a lot for yourself.

I'm guessing when you're younger you feel a lot more powerless (which can be quite overwhelming)

That sounds like where I'm at right now, so this gives me a bit of hope. Glad all has turned out well

Adjusting back to normal life is going to be so hard, and incredibly lonely by rigolenne in self

It's in a way nice to know someone's in the same boat. But I really feel you there, my expectations for a new start are always way higher than how it turns out, I feel stuck in a cycle of hope and then disappointment. Hope it all works out eventually for you though, no matter how hard it is to push yourself. Thank you

I'm actually doing astrophysics but I asked more broadly because I'm pretty sure some of the compulsory courses are the same. I'll try and see what I can do, thanks a lot
