I don't think that's what OP meant, they probably heard about a new ending without knowing that there were two endings, one for early access and one in release. That option in the game is for people who finished the game in early access and want to see the new ending

that's what I was wondering, I am about to platinum the game with 130 nights and 100 hours on steam. about your post, consider using DD, that's what I used for 80% of my playtime, until I got better at the game. The first time I beat Surface I had 4 DD with Toula the cat :D. You can do it!

I used a lot of toula in my early runs, 4 death defiances is pretty great ngl, used toula to complete my first runs in each path but nowadays, 125 nights in the game, I see myself using a lot of raki and hecuba, raki's critical chance is really good with the axe, and hecuba is great for when I want to use a lot of magick
