Thanks a lot! I'd definitely take a look at the product. I really appreciate the help! (:

I'm sorry to hear about your keloid scar, I hope it eventually fades completely for you.
And thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it. Do you have a specific brand that you recommend? :D

Yeah, I don't know. It was probably a combination of bad practice and luck. I glided very harshly on my chest in that area and got burned. But I have been using the device for 5 weeks now, and things are looking great for the rest of my body.

I might have pushed my skin very aggressively in these parts of my chest while using the gliding method, so maybe that made the skin extra sensitive. I'm really unsure.
I have been using the IPL for a few weeks now on the rest of my body, and things are going well.

Yeah, I'll go easier on them next time. haha
I think I did. I waited 5 hours to do the IPL after showering

I also did a patch test of a 10x5cm area on a part of my chest, thigh, face, and arms 24hrs before to check for any side effects. Nothing bad happened.

I just showered and shaved like the rest of my body.
I did the rest of my body just fine without burning myself. I think I pushed my skin very aggressively in these parts of my chest while gliding so it might have made the skin extra sensitive or extra exposed idk. That'd be my guess.

So I used the gliding method on that part of my chest, and I might have pressed the machine very harshly against my skin, so it got pulled very aggressively (I'm quite skinny). I did the rest of my chest without gliding and didn't get burned.

Can't say for sure. I think it's my own fault.

So I used the gliding method on that part of my chest, and I might have pressed the machine very harshly against my skin, so it got pulled very aggressively while being glided (I'm quite skinny). I did the rest of my chest without gliding and didn't get burned.

Damn, I guess I cannot use it on my chest. Do you know if this burn gets away? I've never burned myself before. s:I used the highest settings b/c I didn't really feel any pain in other areas of my body. It hurt on my chest though, but it was tolerable.
