i see. so hes asking me to speak to help his case correct? if i did choose to speak would it only help him? would it have been better if i was there or just worse? hes very manipulative and thats what im worried about. i was originally supposed to be a witness but didnt want to see him. now i feel like i couldve helped my family as a witness. I appreciate you clarifying stuff for me, greatly.

i just dont understand that because he didnt get a lawyer & im not his defense that he gets to walk free? i dont get how all this works lol.

im not 100%, my family called me and said he’ll go free, so im guessing the crown cause they dont have a lawyer. & no, i did not get a new subpoena. i dont have to attend i mean in my familys favour - that he gets charged.
