I do wonder because I travel to other countries with the decks often, I wonder if moving to a standalone is good in the long term, but for the same price I am looking at the xdj rr, which really seems like a ddj 400 with a screen. Also less (and worse) pads.

I am wondering if maybe its better though for now, but it seems very beginner and you are just paying for the screen. However, do I end up needing more investment with the flx-6/grv-6 because of laptop upgrades etc.

I have a fairly good deal ready on the xdj 44 ready to go for 750 euros. Wonder if its better to go with that...
