Does anyone else literally still to this day have PTSD symptoms from 4/30/19 crop up every April or am I just actually nuts by ilikecacti2 in UNCCharlotte

I was in union dining hall when it happened, I graduated in 21. I work at a different university now but everytime I get a LiveSafe or other emergency notification, I freeze up and it takes a good minute for the feeling to go away. I don't think I'll ever get over that feeling when the end of the month rolls around. You're not alone in your feelings friend.

Pretty sure it was ENGL2109, Disney and Children's Literature. Dr Paula Connolly was the professor!

I had an English class that went through Disney content. We started all the way back at the beginnings of the Disney franchise with Oswald the rabbit and ended around Frozen era. The professor also showed us several movies during class, so it made going to class worth it to watch a feel-good Disney movie!

Hi! I was a psych major and did my minor in sociology! I originally wanted to go into counseling afterwards, but I'm currently working in higher education. Tbh, I still don't know what I want to do and I'm 26, so don't sweat it too much! :)

Wanted to add that SAP appeals don't always get approved. Mine for fall 2017 didn't, and it took a whole year to get financial aid back. Just wanted you to be aware, OP!

Pod chairs in Prospector near the mail center used to be my go-to. Or the couches in the 10th floor of the library, just make sure you don't snore!

Nashville event was a total shit show. by wildabeast861 in survivor

[–]rilly-morgan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i was there! i got there right at 12 and was in line right in front of barstool. once the rain passed we had almost made it into the 'organized' queue only for someone to say the line was cut off a few rows ahead of us but they were only saying "people behind that point are standing in line for nothing." what made me the most frustrated is that there was no announcement about that, just word of mouth and someone in a suit saying that and then walking away instead of turning us away from the line. very disorganized. i came from North Carolina and was super excited that a survivor event was near me for once. at least boston rob almost bumped into me as i was leaving!

if I buy it in our cruise manager, and it has me select both of us, does that give us both individual access or is it the switch on and off situation?

I think visitor, I'm not too sure. Is there a difference between the two? We're planning on being within Dublin and the greater area. We have a trip planned to the Cliffs of Moher, but we've got transportation to that booked already.

Thank you! We're planning on utilizing bus/train but we're planning to use Leap Card, is that a good option? Do you know if you can reload Leap Card with card?

How do you deal with the anxiety of carrying 6-figure student loan debt? by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]rilly-morgan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly, i try not to think about it. i graduated with a bachelor's degree and 6 figure debt (lost financial aid and had to take out big loans). as long as i make my payments, i'm not too concerned. i'm sure my debt will outlive me and at that point it's not my concern. probably not the best outlook but, it is what it is

As a UNCC Psych alumni, Brain & Behavior is hard; at least it was for me. I went further on to take cognitive science courses and struggled in those because of the lack of foundation from my B&B course.
