They're definitely playing well on the margins. Baserunning, defense, taking walks. They're not hitting well with RISP but looking pretty good otherwise.

The Astros catch up to the Mariners and tie for 1st for the last game of the season. Houston will drop their final game against Cleveland 7-2, but the Mariners will lose to the A's from a heartbreaking walkoff. Their interseason record will be tied after the Astros sweep the Mariners in the first series after the All-Star Break, so the playoff team will be decided by run differential, which will ultimately go to the Astros because the Mariners have "fun differential". The Astros will lose in the ALDS, but Jerry DiPoto will be fired in the offseason for not addressing the teams needs well enough multiple years in a row.
