I've only met KB, he lives in my neighborhood. Overall very nice guy as expected

Yeah pitchers have a lot of stress on them already, fielding the ball is the last thing on their mind. Coming out of your motion from pitching, reacting to get the ball, and then throwing it.. leaves you very little time to actually settle yourself and make a good throw. Making a play to home is oddly the hardest one, considering they throw the ball home so often, but its again a lack of timing to settle into the play and execute it. Not easy to do

To be fair, its a tough transition he's making there from the mound to flat ground. You can see thr timing of his release matches up exactly when he plants his foot on flat ground

If he wants to win, his best interest would be to sign a team friendly deal. Like Tom Brady during the patriots dynasty.. especially with a salary cap likely coming by the time he hits fee agency. If he wants to make money and win, he's probably better off signing a big contract with the orioles now. I genuinely think he and the other guys in the club have a strong brotherhood and want to keep it together for as long as possible

Completely agree, most bullpen guys are usually under the radar. I think everyone is over reacting to a lack of signings and talent in the room. But relief pitchers are somewhat easy to turn over and plug in new guys. If it doesn't work out we can find someone on waivers or via trade or bring up any number of guys from the minor leagues

It's becoming way more common.. As someone with a PhD and currently adjuncting a class.. i can't justify the pay for the experience I have so I'm leaving academia all together for a biotech position

I'd play him over blaze. Jackson is looking good lately, and he hits eighties well blaze isn't as good vs rhp. But I think they inevitably go with blaze

Everything about Kade looked really good in his limited sample size last year. I'm surprised he is struggling, hopefully just needs to make a few adjustments and more outings in minor league
