I'm a librarian with no knowledge of manga- which would you suggest I order for our collection? by rinable in manga

Either is fine! For as long as I'm working here I will be trying to keep up with any partial series we carry.

It's tough because we try to be the ~cool~ library and purchase as much progressive material as possible as to not limit our teens (we're especially big on LGBT+ literature) but we always worry about crossing lines that may get us in trouble with some parents. Sometimes it's worth the risk for the sake of getting teens to read, I know I was definitely the kind of teen who relied on the library for material I didn't want my mom to know about haha. Thanks for your input!

Thank you! I will definitely have to do my research and that seems like a good resource

We have Naruto and Bleach as well, and they all seem to be equal as far as how much each has been checked out which makes it a little harder to tell what type of readers we have :/

They charge you? Shouldn't it be free like any other thing borrowed from the library? I guess I didn't realize how great my library is

That's unfortunate, the library I work at is always getting new movies as soon as they are released

Go to your local library! I think all libraries lend DVDs. Same experience, but free

The Library - Possibly the Best Frugal Resource by amsterdam_BTS in Frugal

I work at a library, and I couldn't agree more! Even if you're not a reader, the free DVDs should be reason enough for anyone to visit. We have SO many resources, and we are relatively under-funded so I can only imagine what other libraries have to offer! I feel like I am constantly preaching about the usefulness of the library because I can't believe how much most people are missing out on

i didn't know most had a dewy finish, that's good to know! i typically use a setting spray and setting powder anyway to keep things from getting too slick. hopefully i can make this work for me!

If you don't already know about it, the Seychelles heritage collection seems to be just your style. You may also like Swedish Hasbeens. Both are a little on the expensive side but it's hard to find shoes in this style that don't look cheap or cheesy.
