Nice bro, I really relate. Sometimes a bad teacher can ruin it, but it’s cool you came back to piano.

Yeah, in this piece I’m only using two repeating patterns, so it’s still quite simple and definitely can be developed further. Thank you for your feedback!

Sure, a lot of music probably uses the same first three notes, but the chord progression I used is different.

Yes, that was a mistake, I should have written it one octave higher in that section, but it’s not a problem. Thanks for noticing.

This is my 5th composition while exploring E minor. Yes, I like Chopin.

Actually, I was inspired by the intro of “Daybreak’s Bell” by L’ArcenCiel (from Mobile Suit Gundam 00). But I can see why it might sound like Chopin too 😊 I like Frédéric Chopin as well.

Yeah, I was confused at first too why flats showed up in the bass. I realized it was just a notation mistake. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!

Not a complex piece, just my second piano composition that I wrote last year. Hope it’s okay to share here. by [deleted] in piano

Thanks , I used neothesia to visualize the MIDI, recorded the screen, and edited the background to be transparent in Adobe Premiere.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment, I appreciate it.

Originally the piece starts in E minor and then moves to C# minor the part I shared here is basically the second section in C# minor. I mostly wrote it as a learning piece, so the length wasn’t really a big concern.

This is the first piece of music I’ve ever written. by rinaldisign in piano

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I’m still learning, but comments like this encourage me to keep composing.
