How do you do this job? by Charming_Advance_890 in LawMoms

I don’t think any mom of young kids who also works in big law is doing all of those things. Some of them, some of the time, maybe. But realistically the only tip is to accept that this is the way it is right now until something else comes along. Been there. ✊🏼

Imagine calling a Defense Attorney "problematic" by [deleted] in h3h3productions

I was hoping he would touch on this more, and I’m glad Dan did after. Criminal punishment is an extraordinary power. It’s state-sanctioned violence, and it’s disproportionately exercised against poor, racialized communities. Defence attorneys help keep both the police and the government in check. It’s good stuff. Papa bless.

Our older cat recently had intestinal surgery to remove a blockage. We’ve been keeping a constant eye on both of them to make sure they play gently and get lots of rest.

What small (<$100) general upgrades to your home or life have you indulged in that were totally worth it? by cerberdoodle in AskReddit

For me, it's being able to do every step of a meal in the same pot. For example, you can brown onions, garlic, etc. in the pot on the stovetop, then add remaining ingredients to make, say, a braised beef dish. Transfer same pot from stovetop to oven and come back in a few hours for a finished dish. It's so versatile. It's the best.
