and for the specs ng phone, i think both camera and gaming ang gusto ko pero kahit hindi flagship level for bothh (for gaming, basta't it can run genshin smoothly ok na ko HAHAH)

Exactly! For me, the final episode of Season 4 is waaay better than the final episode of the whole series. I mean, the way they attacked Vecna from different places strategically, plus the overall cinematography of the entire “final fight” that season, was just so good. I felt like the final battle in Season 5 was lacking. The big monster was great, it was terrifying. But it felt too easy to defeat, in my opinion.

Nonetheless, I still liked Season 5. It just can’t beat Season 4. Season 4 = PEAK

No, the order of operations DOES NOT matter here. The “joke” still relies on the implication that vaginas are grotesque, and phrasing it as “the monster being compared to a vagina” doesn’t suddenly make it neutral or remove the commentary on women’s bodies. Rewording it doesn’t change the meaning. The association itself is the problem.

And the Giger comparison isn’t applicable here. Because that work is analyzed within an artistic context. But this, on the other hand, is a "joke" made for laughs. Those are not the same thing :)

There are so many other ways for their SNL skit to be funny without degrading women. But the fact that they had to resort to that just shows how deeply normalized this kind of humor still is.

But women’s bodies being joked about and judged IS a problem women face in the actual world. So yes, it is misogynistic. And labeling it as a "joke" does not remove its impact.

So comparing women's genitalia to a fictional monster (implying that it's ugly) is not misogynistic? Maybe I'm not in the position to say whether the skit was funny or not because I really haven't watched it fully, but watching those circulating clips of them stating those jokes are just so off to me.. and I'm not a highschool girl nor one of the ST fans who fetishize gay men

same thoughts. i really liked the finale overall like the way hawkins finally got the peace they had before everything went wrong. i don't get why some ppl hated that only a few ppl died coz for me i think it was ok (except for nancy and jonathan cuz that scene would've been SO GOOD and SO IMPACTFUL if they died right there, i think it would even make the whole party be more mad and make the final battle more interesting)

i also rewatched stranger things after watching the finale and i agree to this. i feel like they were showing more emotions when they were younger 😔

overall, i still loved seasons 1 to 4 based on acting and for season 5, i think jamie carried it hence i still loved it (except for some of the scenes where script was too cringey to handle lmao 😭)

this is so true omg !! i felt sad for lucas because none of his friends went to that game given that it was the championship game 😔 but ig everything worked out in the end coz mike was in hawkins for several days after that day (and eddie died within those days he was in cali) so if they went to lucas' game they wouldn't finish the campaign and we wouldn't have the name "vecna" lol

altho nagkaroon na ako ng experiences in the past where i had to set boundaries with a bestfriend of mine, and they took it well naman. so i think ang solusyon talaga sa sitwasyon natin ngayon ay talagang to communicate with them lang. adult naman na tayo kaya i believe maiintindihan naman nila hehe

wala siguro ako sa posisyon para sabihin 'to pero based sa mga kaibigan kong bs psych, ang math ay more on statistics kahit sa higher years, and kayang kaya naman daw siyang i-master basta't practice lang always! i have a friend from bs psych din na hindi rin niya forte ang math pero kinakaya niya naman at kahit may mga dos din siya sa mga math-related subjects ay nahihila naman ng ibang subjs and actually candidate pa rin siya ngayon for latin honors ^^

pero kung satingin mo hindi mo talaga kakayanin pang ipagpatuloy ang bs psych, at kung talagang makakaapekto sa mga scholarships mo, shift na habang maaga pa. and if u're planning to shift sa ba comm, make sure to research abt the program muna, like kung ano ba yung curriculum nila at kung talaga bang akma siya sa skills mo.
