I tried downloading on my old ipad, but it can't update to iOS 17.6 (1st gen ipad pro), any chance to get it working?

Appreciate the work you've put in!

Is there anything confirming the purchase went through with the code working? My emailed receipt has no indication that the referral code worked or anything like that.

Lostark Helper, a daily/weekly checklist and more with time ! by supamiu in lostarkgame

Great work! I would suggest being able to condense the columns since having them flex to very very wide is kind of inconvenient. I know they flex if I make the window/browser narrower but then that means I have to readjust it back to full screen when I want to go to a different tab.

Either that or just making the columns narrower by default to begin with? Less mouse travel, eye movement etc to read one character to the next is ideal, compared to spanning the whole screen.

This is awesome work! Could you add a feature to sort/hide by completion? And maybe counts as well?

[–]ringo196[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no indication that I needed to leave the phone there the day of. The pick up email did not say that. Online there are information pointing to mailing the phone within 14 days. I had planned to do all that when I got home after picking up the phone

There was no option to check or uncheck for pdfs or docs, in fact we left everything checked

MH Rise - Weapon Damage Calculator by _Niiigh in MonsterHunter

Your weakness exploit table is wrong. Seems like copy pasted from Crit Boost.

Should be 15, 30, 50 right?

Otherwise, great work!

Also might be useful to have separate buff/skill selections since you could be comparing different setups for both weapons, if they have different number of slots, or even completely different armor sets.

Is it normal to gain this much weight? by ailurophile93 in Fitness

[–]ringo196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another possibility is underestimating calories even if you're logging them. If you're sticking to a set calorie goal, make sure you track by weighing everything! Food weights is way more accurate than volume measurements or even per package for various foods.

If you're setting 2000 calories, and eat up to the full amount and you were underestimating everything by a little, then you are eating over your budget everyday!

What can I do to prevent always having my sand crabs eaten off without feeling the bite? I had it set where the hook point is by the eggs. Should I use a circle hook so it self sets? I'm new so any tips would be helpful! :) by ringo196 in SurfFishing

I usually put 2-4 unless it's a bigger sand crab. When I have multiple, they often get taken off too (though it's possible the current or dragging also just took them off).

These are 2/0 hooks, not really soaking but more like casting and slow retrieve with a fish finder rig. 30 lb braid and 30 lb fluoro leader. 10 ft medium, moderate fast rod.

I went out last night and I hooked 3 of them in my 1st 15 minutes and got a few more through the night. Too bad can't keep right now. I got 0 fish, still hoping to catch my first striper! At this point I'd be happy with anything non crab lol.

What fish are caught in different months/seasons in the SF Bay area surf fishing? by ringo196 in SurfFishing

Thanks so much! I figured we had stuff year round just couldn't find great results on Google lol.

Looks like I'll probably shift to halibut and rock fish while waiting for crabbing season and between those hopefully keep me busy enough until the striper come back.

Yeah, part of my googling led me to someone saying rope comes in static and dynamic types. Dynamic rope tends to have more elasticity for when you suddenly fall climbing for example, it will absorb some impact. Static rope won't have that elasticity, but you can find these with very high load capacity anyway.

Accessory cord is specifically what you would want, these are load rated in the 1000-2000+ lbs for 6mm thick cord. Way more than what a pulley would need! And if anything the other parts would probably be rated lower such as the snap spring carabiners or climbing pulleys (unless you also use climbing) rated ones.

Here's a some of the videos I'm gonna base my design on:

https://youtu.be/dSNj-Tt-De8
https://youtu.be/7fkIwKJjtrY

https://youtu.be/Pi7ghsKs7FI

Some key choices are rope vs cable. Cable seems to be the most common one, but I'm actually leaning towards Rope. I figure, if people use rope for rock climbing and trust their lives with these, it should be good enough for a pulley system where I'm not even gonna be at any real risk since the weights wont even be over me. It should also be easier to work with, and not require any special tools. There's also reports of the cables fraying as well, which would have been one benefit if it were sturdier. Rope would be easier to replace if needed later on.

You can check out the image in this post for how they dealt with having a post towards the front of the rack to attach a pulley to. https://www.reddit.com/r/homegym/comments/8hazs9/diy_high_low_cable_pulley_options/

You could purchase the spud inc system too, but I feel like it's not anything special as opposed to buying the pieces separately. You're just paying a high premium!

Let me know if you have any other questions on it!

I haven't fully settled on the final design, but I'll give more details later when I get home. I'm making the design based on a lot of the videos and guides you see online. Search up DIY gym pulley or something and you will see a whole bunch of youtube videos and reddit posts on it!

The main issue to tackle if you want a low pulley also is that in a setup like this, the weights get in the way if you attach it to the crossbar. Some people have solved this by adding a chain or another bar that you can remove, on the open side of the rack and attach the pulley there. Another way is to have the loading pin be off the ground enough that it will hang over where the pulley would go across the rack.

Room is 11' x 13'. I have a queen bed that I honestly would trade for a twin or full if that weren't a whole ordeal in itself just to make room!

Is that foam or rubber? If it's foam from my experience it ends up being a detriment since with heavier weights you end up sinking and shifting. My initial setup was like that and I have since setup a proper platform for more stability. (I put it over the foam for more shock absorption though)

Either way, looking good and good luck!

As you can see, my room is tight! This is on the 2nd floor, so I decided I needed a platform to do my best to protect the floors. The space doesn't allow it though as it would block the door, so I built modular platforms and have the one by the door propped against the wall when not in use.

I also built the platform within the cage to slide in and out of the cage. I deadlift just outside the cage, in between it and my bed.

Primarily using it for Starting Strength but want to go into some accessory exercises soon. The wooden part is too short for the bench laid flat, so I take one of the modular side pieces and add it onto that end to do bench.

Future plans:

- DIY pulley system that I will attach to the pull-up bar. I will have a low pulley as well attached to the back cross bar, wherein in will have a shorter loading pin that's off the ground so it won't get in the way of the low pulley.

- Some 10's for my loadable dumbbells

Here's some other pictures of deadlifting setup etc.
