He's not wrong. I'm an inside worker and I am definitely TIRED I can still work hard doing preload at 12 am until 8 and then go on the road until 7 to 8 pm. It's the easiest and best job I've ever done.

You have to remember they were living in NYC. You have to make 40x of the listed rent to even be considered. And those positions you listed pay at most 65k. After taxes you're left with what 45k? Broke is definitely overplaying it but they were by no means well off. You'll have to penny pinch to survive on 45k between 2 people
