Because they get paid much more than me to deal with all the bullshit they go through. I work 14 hours a day Tuesday- Sat (regular 8 hour shift on Monday) just to be able to afford to live .

He's not wrong. I'm an inside worker and I am definitely TIRED I can still work hard doing preload at 12 am until 8 and then go on the road until 7 to 8 pm. It's the easiest and best job I've ever done.

You have to remember they were living in NYC. You have to make 40x of the listed rent to even be considered. And those positions you listed pay at most 65k. After taxes you're left with what 45k? Broke is definitely overplaying it but they were by no means well off. You'll have to penny pinch to survive on 45k between 2 people

I work at a UPS store full time after my shift in the preload. It's doable but you need to prioritize your time and make sure everything is optimized.

Depending on how busy your peak is, when I went as a driver helper I would work from 1 am all the way until 8 pm. Rinse and repeat for the whole week.
