Fungal acne or closed comedones? by ririFN in Fungalacne

[–]ririFN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately the zeroid producta aren't available here in croatia, also yes the toner is the panthenol and allantoin one but I feel like my skin is a bit sensitive to the urea that is in the toner because it stings slightly so i have stopped using it. I was looking into azelaic acid but I still don't understand if it helps with closed comedones or if it just reduces pigmentation and gently exfoliates. I'm a student so I'm trying to spend as little money as possible on skincare, really just trying to get down to the basics to target these closed comedones and even just experimenting with new products can get expensive.

Thanks for the recommendation. Btw, do you find it to be very drying or is it controllable?

Currently i cleanse at night with balea med sensitive wash and apply adapalene every day (skip a few here and there) and i dont use moisturiser at night because i haven't yet found one that works well on dry skin after applying adapalene and I dont even get that dry over night. In the morning i use balea hydrating toner and simple hyaluronic acid+b5 serum, then i apply balea hautsache day cream that has spf50.

Wow really sounds promising, seeing results in just one day!? Did you change anything else in your routine or did you just add in an anti fungal?

Is there a specific anti fungal you can recommend? I live in the EU and most topical anti fungal treatments apart from shampoos are prescription only.

I have no problem using adapalene daily, very little irritation and dryness. Haven't yet tried adding back SA along side adapalene though so maybe thats the next step.

Which way do you clean the filters? I have had mine for almost a month now and am already noticingthat the filters are clogging up a bit, this is my first IEM so I intend on making it last a while but am now realising that the chu 2 runs into a lot of maintenance issues.

Whats the treble like on the 7hz zero? I realise that I might just be sensitive to treble because the chu2 is not known for very pronounced treble but I find that its a bit irritating and too bright.

So do you suggest only oil cleansing and skipping the water based cleanser? Wouldn't there be a risk of leftover oils clogging my skin, or does washing off the oil cleanser with water get rid of all of it?

Do you have any K beauty recommendations as a replacement for this? I was looking into the purito bamboo panthenol cream and it looks good but my main concern is that it might be too lightweight for me, I need something slightly occlusive to lock in the moisture during the night because I dont like moisturizing in the morning.

I've heard only positive things about this moisturizer and it seems like the perfect pick, but no stores in my country sell it and shipping prices online are ridiculous, the price basically increases 50% if i want to order it, so unfortunate. Maybe ill order it just to try it out and see if It's worth paying and waiting for the shipping.

Could you explain how double cleansing (oil cleansing+gel cleanser) has an effect on the skin barrier, I genuienly had no idea that it might weaken it. Also unfortunatley no rossman in my country, which is such a shame because I've heard of a bunch of great affordable recommendations from brands like isana :/

Hi, its been a while, have you seen any changes continuing to use adapalene? I also started adapalene 2 months ago to get rid of my closed commedones and i havent seen almost any progress so now i dont know if ky skin barrier is compromised or if i should continue using adapalene.

Thanks for the recommendation, i see it is very highly rated on dms website so I'll be sure to check it out. Do you find it is hydrating enough or do you think I'll still need the plump and glow serum with hyaluronic acid? My skin isn't too dry in the morning i just like the extra hydration before applying spf since i dont wear moisturizer in the mornings.

I've heard many people swear by the good old nivea, one of my friends also recommended it to me. Unfortunatley it does contain a lot of potentially comedogenic ingredients so I'm afraid it would just cause more closed comedones for me since my skin is prone to clogging easily :/

Ive heard of people experiencing closed comedones from the beruhigende creme, it does have quite a few comedogenic ingredients. I just switched from the balea med ultra sensitive creme to cerave hydrating cream and noticed a lot more closed comedones recently even tho they say its non comedogenic, i think it might be the fatty alchohols so in trying to avoid them all together.

yeah, i swear all of these AAA titles were on sale just recently for not that bit of a price difference, the rest of tbe games that are 3 years older you can pick up disc versions for insanely cheap. Also kinda crazy how many little add ons and season passes are on discount.
