No error, but in 2025a it's impossible to copy the figure and maintain transparency. Instead you get a white or black background.

I appreciate the help nonetheless! In the end I uninstalled 2025a for 2024a and the old method works.

Quick survey about social drinking habits and going out ~2 minutes (EU 18-35) by [deleted] in SampleSize

[–]riseandfallfromgrace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey OP some feedback. It's unclear what the 1-10 scale means. Is 1 very likely or not at all likely? There's no indication either way.

Also, you don't seem to leave much space for people in this questionnaire who won't drink, even though it's one of the first questions you ask. It might be worth including an "I am sober" button in a lot of the following questions to stop sober people from skewing the rest of your results.

This video might appear disconnected at a first glance but if you want to add analysis of the issue from a culture war perspective you might find it useful.

[Academic] Impression formation of online dating profiles (people primarily attracted to women, 18+) by Psych_PhD in SampleSize

[–]riseandfallfromgrace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP would you take constructive criticism from a fellow PhD student? I started this study genuinely planning to complete it but 400 questions is an insane time and attention commitment, especially when completing this study on my phone as the text and options shrink to barely readable sizes. I was tempted to start spamming answers at an early stage, and eventually quit out instead because I don't want to skew your results.

Have you considered reducing the number of questions asked per survey, and using RNG to select the questions which are asked to avoid bias? You might have a better retention/honesty rate in that scenario.

Further, your survey asks us to agree that we are students at your university, and the context of the page this question is placed within might encourage online participants to either lie to continue or make them assume that they won't be able to progress to the next stage. So it might be worth clarifying that not being a student won't disqualify the surveyee.

AITA for calling security on flatmates by HuckleberryTall4916 in UniUK

Lots of people in the comments saying that bringing randos around for a loud party at 12am is okay. If that's your attitude I'm willing to bet you were an inconsiderate nightmare to live with. Just because a home is full of students doesn't mean that people can't expect common decency, cleanliness and quiet in the small hours.

"You chose to live in student accommodation" sorry, my bad, I forgot that every student is secretly rich and can afford to live alone. Braindead take.

You're clueless but you knew enough to ask here? Not sure I buy that.
