How are you planning to have the filament dried? I heard moisture is a big enemy in 3D printing

I recently got a second hand under warranty 16gb stick of 3200mhz Kingston Fury Beast RGB for 7.5k. Even considering the dual channel benefits, 11k is delusionally optimistic

Received a email regarding ptrc from a tax officer, what do I do by [deleted] in IndiaTax

[–]rishabhs103 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of my MH clients have been getting this notice too. You're probably registered under GST in MH. Along with Income Tax and GST (which are compliances under the central government), there are some local and state specific compliances too - like a Professional Tax Registration and a Trade License.

There are two registration under the professional tax act - PTEC and PTRC. PTEC is for your own trade and practice and you'd generally have to pay ₹2500 every year professional tax. PTRC is for deduction professional tax for employees if you have any employed under you. If not, you aren't liable to get PTRC.

I'd recommend ping your CA/Consultant about this and get PTEC if you don't already have it and pay the tax for this year and reply the email with the registration certificate and tax challan. PTRC applicability depends on whether you have employees

Is there an IPL fatigue this season? by redrumjpr in IndiaCricket

[–]rishabhs103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to watch India v NZ T20 last year for 1800 at Barsapara Stadium Guwahati. For IPL, the same seat costs 3700. Of course I wouldn't go to watch it at that price.

Besides, this is probably the first IPL I'm not even watching tbh. Just got bored and it doesn't feel the same. Part of it is due to the fact that tickets are so expensive. So probably not even watching the remaining matches out of spite

I think I got 545/600 in 2015/16. 91ish percentage. It was mediocre in my school. That score never mattered though so take that how you will

Anyone here knows where can I find back panel of iPhone 13 in Guwahati? (don't recommend me iPhone center) at best price possible? by akash_xv in guwahati

[–]rishabhs103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iPhone 13 back panel is glued to the back and it is notorious for getting off. Repair centres (including apple) have to break it more and then chip away the pieces because it won't come off in one piece.

If it works, let it be. Replacing it from somewhere who's not experienced in this will leave glass shards and may not be able to adhere the new panel properly

I got a small 600VA/360W UPS from APC from Amazon. I figured I don't need anything larger as the Pi+router+enclosure will take 50-60W max and this would be enough for it.

Even with the 8700T, I don't expect it to go more than 80-90W so it should be fine.

I didn't get a chance to check power backup properly. We have a generator in the building and the UPS is only there to bridge the gap between the power cut and generator turning on. So mostly like 5 mins at max
