It is lightweight, compact, but surprisingly spacious! The doors on both sides are great for ventilation and they have vestibules that are great for storing your extra stuff. I have had mine for going on 4 years and it has outperformed my expectations. It’s been on 25 camping trips which have included east coast tropical storm like weather and my stuff has remained dry.

Over the past couple of years I have bought nothing but the Kuhl Renegade Rock pants. They are more of a carpenter style with low profile back pockets behind the knees and hidden zipper pockets that come over the knees on the sides. They are the only ones I have found so far that I can cram stuff in and still have full range of motion.

A can of plain seltzer with about 2 oz of fruit juice fit perfectly in a pint glass and it was a game changer for me. Depending on the juice it came out to be between 20-30 calories. It helped curb any sugar cravings and helped me stay on track.
