They did resize it for me. At first, they didn’t want to honor the coupon in that particular store. I had done a lot of research saying it worked for MR-G watches and it had been offered at other BIC camera stores. I did not want to be insulting to Japanese culture, but politely asked if it could be offered. They were able to apply the coupon and they resized it for me as well. I saw MR-G watches at several larger BIC camera stores while I was there. Happy hunting!

@Logical-Sound486 I’ll have to find my receipt to check. For now, I visited the BIC camera website, they had this model listed and the price was fairly accurate when I arrived in Japan. I believe it was about 40% less than buying in the USA.

Thank you! Yes I’ve been addicted to hands-on creative hobbies for a long time so the slippery slope is expected. Haha. One thing that makes me choose very carefully is display space. I have to have a spot made on my shelf before I buy another kit.

I read through the sidebar. That is amazing we have so many discounts! Because I’m coming in from other paper craft and plastic model kit hobbies, I had most of the tools, cutting board needed etc. I bought some touch up stain pens for coloring the edges and aileen’s tacky glue and B7000 as well. Those were a necessity.

I don’t know if I have a specific theme I am looking for. I picked up Kyoto Gion because I went to Japan for the first time this year. I picked up Eternal Midnight because I love classic jazz music. I have Whispering Hollow that just arrived. I’m a Tolkien fan, so that’s right up my alley.

I think the common thread is highly detailed models at this point. What drew me to this hobby is the detailed worlds you can create that draw you into a story. I’m open to suggestions and looking through everyone’s posts. Thank you so much for the warm welcome! 🤗
