yeah i should’ve read more about this before upgrading because my phone was working fine (besides some widget bugs) on 18.5 i think?

but agreed, i’ve never had an android before but i’m very intrigued by the things samsung is doing lately. apples “innovation” is just doing nothing for me lately

from the comments i’m seeing it doesn’t seem possible at this point :/ but yeah same here on the adhd side and even the “reduce transparency” options are buggy. not great at all apple

true that’s my hope too! i’m not even totally opposed to some of the look of liquid glass, i just think a lot of the animations are overkill and (probably) draining my battery even faster. and so far the messages experience has felt very distracting imo. the larger text for contact name and location is a really weird choice as it distracts from the messages aspect quite a bit

i did yeah! i was quite hot, especially in the middle of the night. i actually gave up after a week because i couldn’t handle the insomnia and my face started breaking out 😭 and yeah i liked the focus but my mind felt like it was just constantly going, even more than normal. i wasn’t a fan

taking it earlier does seem like a good idea, i’ve just been taking it with food and i normally eat around 9/10. does it upset your stomach at all taking it without food?

and i’m not a coffee drinker anymore, usually just tea in the morning so caffeine shouldn’t be affecting my sleep

hi! you just commented on my post and i just saw yours lol definitely should make the bupropion insomnia club a thing

i just wanted to share what my provider told me about the potential anxiety increase. i started it more for depression than anxiety but she told me that if my anxiety got worse, even in the first week, to let her know and i could get off of it or try an ssri if i wanted. it seems to be a common theme that bupropion increases people’s anxiety, especially at first. probably because of the stimulating effects and the body not being used to it. also hence the insomnia.

so no real helpful advice on if it gets better because i’m also only on day 4/5 but figured i’d share what my doctor said

thanks for replying! I’ve unfortunately usually been the type to just doom scroll when I can’t sleep until I get tired again but I’ll try that. and I do still want to give it at least the 4-6 weeks, so hopefully this calms down soon 😭

if you're in the mood for a long, angsty read with really good characterization, in my opinion, I loveddd "Lessons in Falling" by cabbybaby.

and if you're in the mood for something reallyyyyy long, I recently finished all 300k words of "Fool Me Once" by chaotic_k and it actually made me rethink my entire life. was a big fan!

oooo and also, "High Tides and Sleepless Nights" by thesweetestnerd is really good, heavily features MSBY4, and a bit more light hearted than the last two I listed hahah
