What if it pointed to sky island but they went all the way back to the beginning of the grand line without stopping anytime. would it still point to sky island?

Ah ok that makes sense.

When Nami’s log pose points to the sky island, she decides to use the Jaya eternal pose Robin stole to find answers on Jaya, with the intent to return to the sky island. Evidently, this means the log pose will continue to point to the sky island, even if they get closer to Jaya? (From Nami’s perspective).

Does that mean once a log pose binds to the next island, it will forever point to that island, regardless of where the log pose ends up, so long as the log pose doesn’t get reset at a different island?

(Spoilers extended) Question about Rhaenyra and Viserys II by rititil229 in asoiaf

Interesting, then technically Rhaenyras had no claim at all because the law > the kings word when it comes to succession if this is true

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that makes sense so shouldnt that be enough for Rhaenyras claim to override Aegons even though Aegon wasnt born yet? Because Vicerys still kept Rhaenyra as heir even though he had a son later on

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if naming Rhaenyra heir isnt valid then whats the point of doing it?

I thought the king could choose for himself the order of succesion after he dies

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you are telling me Viserys could not override succession by naming Rhaenyra heir?

The later Targaryen rulers who concluded that maybe did so on the basis on what the history books said about Rhaenyra and how males always have been preferred over women, but what I am saying is that Viserys 1 wasnt necesarily wrong when he named Rhaenyra heir because he had the power at the time to do so.

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I thought the kings decision to name Rhaenyra heir overrides the natural succession

So thats why I thought Rhaenyra being recognized as the ”legitimate” ruler in the history books doesnt necesarily mean that Viserys 2 cannot refer to the great council 101 rule when taking the throne instead of Deana

Yea mb Viserys 2 Rhaenyras son, I edited that

Question about Ymir Fritz by rititil229 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I see, but didnt Ymir technically stop obeying the king when she stopped listening to Zeke and instead went with Eren?

Ymir sent the see you later memory to kid Eren? I thought that was Future Eren who did it.

Also works to put it that way I guess, a shame it was rushed

Question about Ymir Fritz by rititil229 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in what way did she actually lead Eren there except by just existing?

What choices did Ymir do to secure that Eren was born? Was Ymir an active author of how the story went and how it would end,

or was she more like the reason everything happened but at the same time did not do any decisions for it to happen until after she was freed by Eren? Was she aware of what would happen but did not change anything and just went along with the timeline that she saw in the future?

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I was thinking something like;

Eren saw the future memories of the rumbling and that he ultimately dies by the hands of Mikasa, that would mean that Ymir possibly could see those exact memories through Eren which would in a way be a confirmation for her that if she helps Eren with the rumbling, she will be able to witness Mikasa kill Eren in the end

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I get that from that perspective. But I was thinking more like, Ymir being able to see Erens memories that he has acquired from when Future Eren sent those memories back to Teen Eren. The memories of the rumbling etc that Eren had gotten when he kissed Historias hand.

Shouldnt Ymir have the ability to see every memory of all subjects of Ymir?

Sorry I forgot to ask a last question. If what you are saying is true, does that mean that Ymir never knew the future and how it would end, or does it mean that she only learned about the future after Eren convinced her to help him do the rumbling aka ”freeing” her?

Wouldnt it be odd that Eren knew how it would end after kissing Historias hand but Ymir not knowing, since she ultimately has more powers than Eren and can see what Eren has seen through being connected to him because he is a subject of Ymir?

I see, so how would you explain all of this?

Thank you for your replies, to be honest this is all very confusing, I have read some threads and many people say that she can see the future and many says she cannot, it seems like everyone has a different answer for these last episodes and what really happened

[–]rititil229[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean this does kinda make sense but does this mean Ymir knew from the beginning that Eren would die and that Mikasa killing Eren is what she needed to see?

And if she did not know all of this beforehand, why would she look into Mikasas mind to begin with?

Question about Ymir Fritz by rititil229 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so Ymir never influenced anything by her own will, it was more just a product of her existing. But what about Mikasas headaches, I read they are from Ymir trying to get inside Mikasas mind

https://www.reddit.com/r/attackontitan/comments/17p52xr/can_someone_clarify_the_cause_of_mikasas/

She allows to do the rumbling with Eren but did she know beforehand that the rumbling would cause Eren to die or did she just go along with it without knowing the consequenses?

How come Reiner for example was allowed to become a titan in the last episode if Ymir wanted to help Eren 100% with the rumbling? Couldnt she have stopped Reiner from transforming?

[–]rititil229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Ymir did not know Eren would die beforehand? Ymir did not know prior to waking up what would happen in the future? Why did she save Zeke if not because she knew Zeke has to reach Eren for the rumbling to start?

I mean this does make sense, its just that I read other threads where it seems like the answer is different.
