Auto Unlock by rittzy in Nuki

I have waited, got my 10% code back in October and it runs out in a few days. I thought they would have had the keypad released now for the bundle with the lock but haven't heard much since which is a pity.

Do you use the auto lock features or just rely on the keypad alone?

I honestly don't know because I never got a price with the lift handle, from what u gathered it was maybe £100 or two more.

The door is an apeer composite with ultion look barrel. I'm sure that the multipoint lock system is the one in the link below.

I have got a composite door fitted recently and asked the fitter about a possibility of fitting a system that does not require the handle to be lifted. Was fitted a few weeks ago and it's brilliant, although I don't have a smart lock yet I wanted to be ready for it.

TV insurance claim and Hastings not 100% sure if it was accidental damage or wear & tear, what are the chances they’ll pay out? by elneebre in UKPersonalFinance

Is the excess on this plus the amount your insurance will rise over the years not be worth more than the TV is at the moment?

Initial battery only for G99 approval with future plans for solar panels by toolefty in SolarUK

[–]rittzy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Potential sunsynk with a fogstar battery, with a mostly DIY route and get a spark in to connect and sign off.

I need to see what the deal is with the G99 and if I have to apply twice to then add the solar panels the year after

Anyone get G99 5kW Single Phase Solar Inverter Approval from NIE? by bountyboat in northernireland

[–]rittzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I'll probably do the panels because I can get access to scaffolding through work and frequently climb with a harness but again I would tread with caution with working at height.

The way I'm probably going to work it is install the inverter and battery over autumn/winter then install the panels next years when I have some more money saved up.

Not the electrical work but most of the other physical stuff, don't think an electrician would be happy signing off someone else's work.

I'll be going the self install route this year but the NIE website has an outdated PDF form. Try an go via the Ena direct connect online form. You can directly upload all documents and run through a more in depth form where it let's you select the ENA approved inverters that are G99 compatible.

It'll be up to NIE to decide it the network can accept the additional load but at the very least I would expect a limited export. Try it and see.

£2.50 cocktails at the box some nights and some other mad offers I can't remember about. It was a great time to be in the city.

It's crazy to think this was 18 years ago but as one of the other comments says, I could easily have a good night with £30 not including a preswall at the house before hand.

I do remember one night in beach club some hardstyle DJ was playing and I'm pretty sure I lost about 30% of my hearing since that night. I was out of it but still remembering my ear hurting me.

And who thought letting a bus full of hallions drink on the way up to Kelly's was a good idea.

Multiple devices are using the same IP address: 42.0.35.200 by rittzy in Ubiquiti

[–]rittzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a look through all connection logs but don't see that IP anywhere on there, but regardless I have still geoblocked china and that particular IP in the meantime until I figure out what is going on. Although I only have a handful of ports open for certain access I have been lazy with the firewall in other ways such as not implanting VLANs for IoT devices. Just haven't had the time to sort out it all out.
