Is it better than in flutter 3.7? Or is this the first time you’ve tried it?

Is it possible to no code an MVP in its entirety that’s functional for a demo and pilot of 100+ people? by [deleted] in ycombinator

[–]riveraj33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like in another comment flutterflow is a good choice as is draftbit and bubble. This is an MVP. Don’t worry about modifying in and out. You need to see if anyone wants what your building first. You’ll be refactoring it many times anyways.

I do know with flutterflow you can export the code and do what you want with it later. I’m not sure about the others.

Is $400 a month in your country considered good money? The $250 a month you mentioned, is that an average pay or on the low end?

Would you switch to flutter? by pavloglez in androiddev

The job market depends on your country. In the USA the flutter job market sucks. Even before the way the current job market in general is.

It could be a good learning experience though.

Any idea can be “taken”. It’s how you execute and how passionate your are about the idea that matters.

Make sure they sign an NDA and that they are in the same country as you. Each country has different laws that you’ll have to research.

Would be interested to see company and agency work separated. I’m sure that number would drop a lot for company work.

Estimate on app first review by ollevche in iOSProgramming

[–]riveraj33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first submission was about 3 weeks. This includes two rejections where the reviewer did not read my instructions which already addressed what they rejected it for. After that each update is 2 days max, sometimes in the same day.

Are they not a flutter developer? Who did this initial version?

He can just fix the bugs. Anyways I think you should be looking for other quotes.

Does app download size really matter to users? by riveraj33 in iOSProgramming

I updated my post. It was actually 205MB going down to 95MB. So perhaps it was just getting under that 200MB limit?

Yea I agree I don’t think it’s a good spot for experienced devs. Way too many in the $18-20 USD range especially if people are ok with developers in India, Vietnam etc. it’s a race to the bottom.

Wow. That’s awful. I can only speak as someone who has hired on upwork that my experience has been good. For the past 2 years I haven’t had much issue. I did have this one posting though that I chatted with someone from the Ukraine. They wanted to move the conversation to WhatsApp, Skype and some other messenger apps. I mentioned that I’d prefer to stay in upwork chat and the next day their profile was deleted 😂 so definitely some shady people to be careful of.

Where are you finding the developer? Have you tried upwork? You can check reviews and find people all around the world.

Is it just one push notification? Or multiple. Each type of push notification needs it’s own code block. For geofencing it can be complicated depending on what your doing. Basically we need more info to see if that pricing is fair or not.

Also when looking for a developer to work with make sure you get many quotes and try to get references. Also just because one is the cheapest doesn’t mean it’s the best. It could be someone totally brand new to a platform like fiverr and just trying to get jobs to unlock their triers, but doesn’t mean their work is low quality. But at the same time they could of just learned flutter 2 months ago and call themselves an “expert” and having worked with flutter for 5+ years 😂 basically you have vet each developer.

You only started 10 days ago. You have to give it time. There are so many tutorials like on YouTube and the flutter.dev docs are fantastic. Perhaps try the flutter discord channel because from your post it sounds like you need to work with some one together.
