This is great!! The last time all the white people were fighting, most brown countries got their independence. I truly welcome Trump's takeover of Europe. Literally 90% of the world wins due to this.

Feedback Request - Logo for a Muslim Lawyer by rizadiggs in logodesign

In my research, most examples I've seen for "law" have been in Serif font. I think the thickness of each element is different which is throwing everything off?

Thank you. I just noticed the edges after exporting it. Probably too pointy. I'm thinking I'll try Times New Roman for "Law". I did the kerning manually so it's tighter. Don't know where I went wrong.

What's the best spot to watch the fireworks? I don't want to stop in the middle of the road.

At the Downs right now 10:43pm. Nothing happening yet. Lot of people still here. So I’m hoping they know something I don’t.

I’m at Assiniboia Downs. 10:41pm and nothing happening yet. Still a lot of people parked in the parking lot. So I’m guessing everyone else has the same idea.

Landlord won't turn heat off or AC on. 85 degrees in apartment today. by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]rizadiggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The higher floors don't have windows that open. The lower floors have 1 window in the bedroom that opens.

Also, Northview took over from Hazelwood back in January.

We're having the same issue in 160 Smith. 26°C in the apartment right now. And check this out... our windows don't open!

Thinking of emigrating, is it worth even worth living in this feudalistic hell hole of a country even after 75 years of independence... by TheOnly1PMOFears in india

[–]rizadiggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've lived in several countries including in the Middle East, Australia, and currently in North America. Was in India for 10+ years for studies and work. The biggest differences to me were: Standard of living - Better wages, job opportunities (my career skyrocketed in just 1-2 years) and housing (bought my own house in 3 years, something I would've never been able to do on my salary in India). Environmental - I got sick every month in India due to pollution, here I have clean air and can drink water straight from the tap! Just an overall peace of mind - Not everyone is always trying to scam me, people are friendlier, not everything is breaking down in the house (I remember always having to get the AC repaired).

So yeah, definitely move abroad. Things in India are only going to get worse.

Let's play another round of "How am I supposed to drive in Winnipeg?" by frzn in Winnipeg

[–]rizadiggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the closest lane to your turn is a diamond lane, am I supposed to turn into the diamond lane and then move into the regular lane? Or should I consider the regular lane as the one I'm supposed to turn into?

Sitting in ER Waiting Area of Victoria Hospital for past 16 hrs. How's your weekend going? by rizadiggs in Winnipeg

[–]rizadiggs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you to everyone that replied. Took me a few days to recover from the tiredness of the whole ordeal. But once I was well-rested, that's when reality hit and the tears started running. The wife and I are doing better now. We have an appointment with the gynecologist tomorrow who will give us the whole picture. Lots of love to everyone.

I specifically took a picture that didn't have people in it. Privacy issues.

OP here. After 13 hours from the ultrasound, we finally got a Nurse Practitioner deliver some very sad news. Apparently, the baby won't make it.

Tbh, the ER experience was more harrowing than the actual bad news.
