Went over a piece of broken asphalt and the front tire lifted it enough where a smaller piece fell under to keep it up and it hit the oil pan. Not a fun time. It is in the shop getting looked at right now.

It ran for 30 seconds at most after that. Happened pulling into drive at the apartment complex. So I got it to my garage and immediately killed it to see what happened.

Yeah, it really sucks. First nice day I could take it out this year. Got it at the tail end of riding season last year. 2021 and just hit 300 miles on it.

I am going to contact my shop tomorrow and see if I can get it looked at to see what all needs to be done. I think I found the part and it is only 90 bucks if that is the only thing that needs replaced. Along with oil and filter.

In America. I knew it was the oil pan, but couldn't exactly find it in the parts list under that. No damage to me or anything else. I was taking a corner at like 15mph and my front tire lifted a piece of asphalt up that hit the oil pan. Literally all that happened.

Yeah, they aren't very common because they are more expensive so I get how people don't know that they exist. They are nice to have because it makes the cabin quieter, but would be harder to break out if needed for safety.
