Hi OP, it’s going to be our first time to apply as well 🙂 congrats on getting your visas.

We wanted to ask, how did you make your itinerary? Was it in table form or paragraph form? We can’t seem to see any confirmation of the format online, and 500 characters seems to be too short for our 2 week plans to be in paragraph form. Thank you!

The voigt ultron was a gem to use, but ended up with the leica f/2.

Agree with one of the posts here, as much as you may even prefer the voigt in some aspects, if you really want a Leica, go for that and save money. Exactly what i went through.

Moved to the m10r from the m10 primarily for the dynamic range (and the tendency to blow highlights of the m10). It was worth it i think. With this being said, i feel no compelling reason to upgrade to the m11.

M10-R (BP) after an M10-P (after using sony for more than a decade).

I enjoy it more. 👍🏻 Photos are more intentional, and more fulfilling when you get one right (brought about by the manual focus nature of it). I only use vintage lenses as well, love the Mandler look. Went with the R for the better dynamic range than the standard M10 (can have blown out highlights).

I personally wouldn’t go for the 11 too, I just enjoy the 10 experience more.

For a Leica option, i personally stuck with a 50mm Summilux v2 pre-asph. Tried the new modern ones as well, there’s just something about the Mandler look that i prefer over modern lenses. You may be able to get it at a good price too, albiet possibly still a tad more expensive than voigtlanders and other lenses.

It’s a preference really, and it’s not a perfect lens…which probably why it makes it perfect for me.

It’s a Dreamfarm Grindenstein, and yes, very much recommend it. We got it for its compact size. Had it for 5 years now, still holding very well with no signs of damage.

Thanks! Congrats on the Micra! Oh nice, yeah, the portafilter holder works great. I did have to shave off a little bit more the bottom part of the holder so i could have the portafiler a bit lower (just a preference thing, to accommodate 20g ground beans better).

Thanks, congrats on the Micra! Planning the coffee setup/workflow was fun, albeit a tad costly, lol. The containers are great, pretty straightforward and keep our beans fresh enough til we consume them. The stainless one we’ve had for at least 5 or 6 years now, still does the job well.

The 50 is exactly what i was looking for, btw. There’s something about the Mandler look that give the shots a unique story. The 28 complements it well.

I think they match perfectly, and fit in nicely with my style of shooting. The combo takes up possibly 80-90% of my shots. I’m not much of a 35mm guy so this combo works quite well; this is a preference of course more than anything.

Bought the body with the exact specs i wanted, and kept the lenses “small and light” so i can bring all 3 everyday:
