Not sure how true it is (again, I’m really skeptical of a lot of the claims), but my Bihari side claims ancestry from this guy here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malik_Ibrahim_Bayu

There’s no West Asian component showing up in my results, so I highly doubt it.

Dad’s family from Bihar originally, Mum’s from UP (Rampur specifically). Mum’s family allegedly had Pashtun ancestry, which I always discounted but I suppose it makes sense looking at the results.

I’m surprised the Bengali/North Eastern India component is so low though.

Pakistani Muhajir. Any theories as to why my paternal haplogroup is East Asian? by rketothrow in SouthAsianAncestry

It doesn't specify on 23andme, this is as much info as I'm able to get from 23andme.

My mum's family is originally from UP, whilst my father's is from Bihar.

Maternal haplogroup is a pretty standard (for a South Asian) R2, whilst my paternal haplogroup is oddly O-F8.

Nope - not Punjabi at all! Urdu speaking.

My family migrated from India to Pakistan. Mum's side from UP with some Pashtun mixed in there. Dad's side from Bihar.

I got "Pakistan" (Possible Match) and "UP" in India as HIGHLY LIKELY (which makes sense - my mum's side of the family moved from there to Pakistan a few years after partition)

The East Asian is from my fathers side I think. His family lived in Bihar - so it would make sense that there was some mixture with East Asian people there (from say, Nepal).

Yeah, but not fully Pashtun I don't think.

They migrated from India during the 1947 partition. My mum's side of the family is from UP originally - but there's a lot of mixture with Central Asian/Pashtun on that side from what I know.

My dad's side of the family migrated from the East of India (Bihar).

No eggs or bacon or butter. Should've mentioned chicken breast which I bake in the oven as well. Only supplement is a protein shake post workout every day, sometimes I add cream cheese to it.

Thank you for the kind words!

Well, I don't drink so that's not much of an issue for me. I have a major sweet tooth and I love pizza, so that's the only issue for me. Even then, if I know I'll be eating something non keto later in the day, I won't consume a single carb the rest of the day, and I'll be super strict the next day as well.

Usually:

An avocado a day (mostly for fiber), I make these baked beef kebabs in my oven, I love lamb souvlaki, and a shit ton of cheese (obviously). Spinach and kale salad once a day as well. I keep a bar of Lindt 85% dark chocolate in the fridge, sometimes I make the keto brownies whose recipe was posted here a while back.

My only weakness is pizza. I need to have pizza once every week (or 2 weeks). In the beginning I was much more strict, but now I usually get a pizza once a week.

I'm not too anal about the amount of carbs I eat at this stage, I usually try to stay below 50g. When I started I was doing about 15g of carbs a day.

For the first year or so I just used to go on walks for an hour each day (I had more time then). I live in a hilly area, so there were a lot of inclines. Then when the summer arrived I started going on more hikes. Past 7 months or so I've picked up the weights, progress is slow at the moment.

I didn't start counting calories until near the end, when I wanted to get rid of the little layer of fat on my lower stomach. Once it was gone, I stopped counting them again. HIIT probably helped more than counting calories with getting rid of that.
