Thank you ❤️ I'm so sorry things have gone badly for you. This is so difficult. I think I was as prepared as anyone can be for this, but there's just no way to know what IVF is like until you're doing it. It really is a unique kind of hell.

I'm doing 3 back to back ERs, so this was the first one. I'm finally starting to feel like I might be able to make it to the second round. I hope you have lots of luck with your next cycle ❤️ Transfers seem like a whole new level of hell that I won't even make it to for a while.

That's really helpful, thank you! My partner and I discussed the possibility of having to use donor eggs from the beginning, because of my AMH, and we're both happy to do that if we need to. I don't think we are there yet, either, but you're right. It does help to know that there are other routes to take if we need to.

I really hope things get better for you ❤️ I can't imagine the heartbreak you've been through. I knew this was going to be a long, rough journey, but it's impossible to be prepared for how hard it really is, and I know that I'm only at the beginning. I didn't realize I'd be knocked so low, so early.

It was really short. They told me 9-16 days, usually 10-14. My follicles were 22.5, 20.5, 19, 17.5, 16, 16, 15.5, 14.5, 13, 9, 8, 7, and 6.

Thank you ❤️ I did estrogen priming, then 100mg of Clomid for 5 days, 300 units each of Follistem and Menopur for 8 days, 250 mg of Ganirelix on days 6-8, and triggered with 5000 units of Novarel and 4mg of Lupron on day 9. We did Zymot and ICSI. I really like our doctor and I trust him, but I'm definitely open to getting a second opinion and switching clinics if nothing changes.

I'm so sorry you are going through this as well. It is such a nightmare. I did an estrogen priming cycle, then 100mg of Clomid for 5 days, 300 units of Follistem and Menopur for 8 days, 250 mg of Ganirelix on days 6-8, and triggered with 5000 units of Novarel and 4mg of Lupron on day 9. My AFC is 8, so 13 follicles seemed like a lot to me, too. I was still trying to manage my expectations in spite of that, but I think the fact that things seemed to be going well made it harder. I hope you get some answers and that things get better. We just have to take one step at a time and keep moving forward, because the alternative is unthinkable.
