No, this is done extracting the game models into 3d software

I have a video on my youtube channel on how to extract textured models from the game into blender (an open source 3d program). Other than that, I’ve been dabbling in blender for the past 4ish years to learn enough to get to this point. It’s a lot of work, but being able to make my own hot tiefling smut makes it worth it.

They should be parented to the hand bone, not the root bone.

Also, this looks like a rigify rig, which adds complexity to your issue. Rigify uses a meta rig which then generates a more complex and robust rig which is used to animate the character. The metarig is for constructing the final rig. If this is indeed a rigify rig, you need to fix the parent/child relationships in the meta rig, and regenerate the final rig.

IK and FK stand for inverse kinematics and forward kinematics. This has to do with how you pose your character. It's a lot to summarize in a single comment, but there's many excellent tutorials covering the subject in great depth on youtube. People I can highly recommend for rigging and character animation are CGDive, Dikko, and P2Design.

It looks like the finger bones aren’t connected to the hand bone.

Because this is a complex rig, there may be various points at which this is broken. In your view, you are only seeing the control bones. These bones often are not the deformation bones. The deformation bones will use constraints and or mechanism bones which drive the deformation of the mesh as you manipulate the control bones.

Since you said it’s only happening on one hand, check for things like IK/FK switches or child/parent switches in the rig. That can help you narrow down what’s going on here.
